Schabahn and I went to a small-venue (VERY small) concert Friday night where one of the groups that we really like was playing. We thought it was funny that this Rent-a-RV was parked right outside the club. They've not yet hit the big time, but they are on XM Radio every now and then.
Schabahn here adding my comments: I believe that the rented RV shown above was actually the opening group's (New Monsoon) tranpsort as they were on a 5 week NW tour. But we did see ALO (the headliner) hanging out on the corner for a bit when we were very early for the show. This will completely give away how unhip we are ... last concert (Paolo Nutini) we went to, we ended up waiting in line for the doors to open, so we foolishly thought we should get there before the doors opened. We ended up walking around Capitol Hill, stopping in for coffee, then drinks, and then finally hanging out in our car (yea for I-phone's web capability). We convinced ourselves to stick around for ALO's 11:30pm start time. It was worth it, we were super close to the stage (very different from when we saw them at the Bend amphitheater with Jack Johnson) and the music was great. We're just very tired now :)
Here's one of their videos to give you an idea what they sound like:
