Cabin Fever

We spent a very fun, extended weekend at Maya and Andy's cabin. Jonah intercepted Brian's and my game of catch. He'd ask for the ball, I'd give it to him, he'd say he'd give it to "dada" and the cycle would continue.
Brian's looking forward to keeping up this pasttime!
Kamden, the youngest of the group, was well loved. All the kids (grandparents and aunts too) loved entertaining and snuggling him.
Jonah always finds some way to entertain himself.
Fish for dinner. But not from the lake which had an unfortunate case of toxic algae. We had a quick, rafting trip before learning we should avoid water contact. That didn't stop the kids from playing with the water toys on land. We'll just have to save the wake boarding for the next trip.

Jonah and Drew, with a 6 week age difference, had a few moments where sharing wasn't their favorite thing to do. But they got better at taking turns as time wore on (or as we stepped in).

The ducks are very friendly and Jonah loves ducks!
Andy enjoying a moment with the kids. We celebrated his birthday after this, he was equally popular when the kids got to share his cake. Skidoos make incredibly comfortable lawn furniture, by the way!

Drew brushed up his skills (forget what this game is called) playing with Uncle Ben.
The kids loved jumping off the ski doo onto the intertube. They also talked grown ups into spinning the intertube while riding inside.
Kinley is a very good cousin. She loves to help, kiss and encourage Jonah. When he was cranky this morning, she went to retrieve his blanket for him. He yelled out "mine" and she politely replied "how you ask nicely" before giving it to him.
I think Brian found a new way to enjoy is iPhone ... by the lake with a beer.
One sweet girl!

This much fun can wear a kid out!
