Braeden has been so excited for his party he could hardly contain himself these last few days as we gathered decorations and then put them up. He'd say "I love my decorations" or "you're doing a really great job" as I put up new things. He was so excited to help design/decorate his cake and then of course eat it. This morning he sat in his "birthday chair" way before the party started.

Party boys (Braeden tried to get Brian to wear a party hat down the street to get the mail-didn't work).
Braeden chose "Happy Birthday" candles, a cookie crumb dirt road with To-Mater, and rainbow sprinkles. 
Brian asked "who wants cake?" and all the kids ran up from the family room, sat at the table with their hats on in record time.

And of course opening gifts. His friends know him well and he was in heaven all evening!
