We had a wonderful short weekend camping at Deception Pass. We left a day early as Braeden got sick in the middle of the first night and wasn't getting better. He was a trooper and enjoyed moments of our trip despite his flu symptoms.

Trail back from beach to campsite.

Braeden found a lot of cool rocks, some for stacking, some for skipping, some for their cool attributes.

Heart shaped rock...my favorite rock.

Jonah loves baseball and enjoys a little catch with dad.

Playing in the sleeping bag is really fun. Sleeping in it however, is not. Jonah climbed in our sleeping bag each night. He really liked playing with the flashlight too!

Jonah started throwing rocks the moment we hit the beach until we dragged him away. Even then, he pleaded, "let me throw one more."

Wanting to be like the big boys, he says "watch me" as he throws another.

Braeden acting like a stinker (it's all an act).

Jonah still throwing rocks.

Yeah for the first camping trip of the season. Lovely area. Braeden looked like he was having a good time inspite of being sick.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Jonah needs a mummy sleeping bag that you can tie around his...neck?
