Kayak Park

This Sunday we spent a very leisurely afternoon driving up to Kayak Point to play. We were the only ones without a BBQ/picnic (my one water bottle apparently wasn't sufficient). Jonah kept walking up to tables and saying "ju" in attempt to bum some juice or anything from the other weekenders.
So when the ice cream truck came by, Dad saved the day. Jonah first shared Dad's ice cream bar and then he spotted Braeden.Jonah got a taste of the tart flavor. It must not be that bad!
They made friends with a set of brothers, one Braeden's age and one a year or so older than Jonah. They had a lot of fun together with these trucks and trying to make a sailboat out of sticks and leaves (A for effort, but nothing really sailed).

This was before he found the other boys to play with...a little pouting sessionBut then I got him to laugh.
Jonah loves rocks and sand and dirt!
He was in his prime!
so fun!

There was a cool playground too.

"Dad, look at me!" This kid loves to swing!
And play with the big kids. This was a four man teeter totter (but it only bounces a little, no one goes crashing to the ground on this one).
