While I was admiring the tree's reflection, we saw an Ostrich chasing a zebra. Those birds run fast! (40 miles/hr although I don't think what we witnessed was top speed. Still it was very entertaining).
Jonah stopped to "read" a lot of the signs. Thank him for the fun facts included in this post. 
These pictures are in reverse order of our 4 hour trip to the zoo. Normally we stay about half that time, take a stroller and I pack everything. Today, Jonah insisted on taking his own lunch in his own backpack AND he kept it on for all but 5 minutes (B carried it for him). The boys were very good (unlike the remaining hours at home when they bickered).
We almost never see the Snow Leopard.
This monkey came up really close.
They love the "off the beaten paths."
We ate lunch in the sun (can you imagine...sun!) watching the elephants. It's hard to beat a day with the boys AND sun.
The lions were napping. Did you know they can sleep up to 20 hours/day? Lucky beasts!
