Luau

We checked out the Polynesian Cultural Center for some history and a luau. First thing, we jumped into a canoe for a tour.
Braeden soaks it all in while Jonah hams it up.
The center is divided by villages and I can't remember which this is.
Braeden enjoyed the twisting baton (which we later saw in the show) in the Tonga village although it was tricky.Next we went on to this trick in Samoan, it's hard! They were better than me!We've said before Jonah copies Braeden's every move...Then they got "tatoos."Can you believe such a sweet face can have tatoos? (He's dead set against the real thing since needles are involved...hopefully that won't change).Jonah did not like wearing his leis.Watching the imu ceremony (unearthing the roasted pig...totally gross looking!) Would you belive that while Brian and I enjoyed a traditional luau, the boys ate chicken nuggets and french fries! Hardly Hawaiian, but it's nice they catered to kid's tastes too! At least Braeden tried the purple taro roll. The boys really liked the show too.
