OK. We didn't take our camera on the hike today (not charged) but we spent a wonderful day together hiking up to Barclay Lake. Braeden did a great job and Jonah stayed awake until the last 20 minutes or so in his backpack and then slept all the way home. We realized it was our fourth year in a row hiking on Mother's Day and are glad to officially establish it as a new tradition. It was my ideal day and Brian spoiled me with perfect gifts.
Braeden now reads to Jonah, it's so sweet! Jonah is big into making animal noises (the dinos roar; he also does duck, donkey, owl, dog, cat, tiger, cow and is learning sheep & horse). He really is trying to copy the words we say now. It's fun!
We've been spending a lot of time in this lately. Jonah gets mad when we get in the car as he prefers travel by stroller or bike trailer. Braeden was sick this day, so no smile, this was our pre-nap fresh air/walk. Gotta love spring weather!
