We have been having some "technical difficulties" in getting photos posted, so long story short, the pics will come later. This one features what might be Jonah's favorite part of the day...he loves his popcorn! Braeden is in high gear with Christmas spirit. He plays Christmas music (it's just one CD over and over again...and not even every song) and sings along (very loudly, but very cute). We saw Santa Wed. He did talk with him (we forgot the letter) and Jonah did well too, didn't cry until after the pictures were taken. Jonah is a real piece of work. For one he's on a sleep strike. Yesterday he napped probably a total of 30 min, went to bed at the normal time, then woke up an hour later. He literally laughed in my face when I told it was time to sleep (apparently the sign for "sleep" is hilarious). We finally got him to sleep, but he continued to wake up until we gave him Tylenol around 1 am. Not so good for Brian who had to get up at 3 am for a trip to LA today...icing on the cake is that he has a touch of the flu, that ought to bode well for his presentation today! Then Jonah woke up around 6:20. Braeden came in a few minutes after that and I asked him to read the clock to me. When he said 7:54 I thought, "close enough let's get up." Then I looked at it read 6:24. If only they made sleep medication for babies!
Jonah's becoming quite silly and a tease himself. He knows he's being naughty, he seems to enjoy our reaction of telling him no. He even does a little fake out as if he's saying "I'm gonna get it, watch out for me." He also likes to put a handful of food in his mouth and then spit it out. The variation of that is to drop food from his highchair and then want out to pick it up. The only exception is "nana," he can eat practically a whole banana in a sitting.
Braeden got a new book "Pirate Mom" at the school bookfair. It is rather funny, but now he's going around calling Jonah a "bilge rat" and a "scurvy lad."
