Father's Day weekend

We headed to John Day and Pendleton for Father's Day weekend as Brian's great-grandfather's funeral was Saturday. So we got to see a lot of family in a short time period. There were several birthdays, graduations and anniversaries to celebrate and we both got to see our dads on father's day so all in all it was a very nice weekend despite the sad event. Case in point: while we were on our way to the cemetary, we pointed out an "old-fashioned" pick-up to Braeden. He watched it pass and then replied, "and it has an old-fashioned man inside it."

Jonah and his (crawling/climbing) cousin Drew are 6 weeks apart.

Braeden's generous cousin Kinley ran beside him while she shared her John Deere tractor for hours. It meant a whole new level of fun for him. He's determined now to earn money to buy his own, so if anyone has any work for for a 4 yr old ...
