Sunny Weekend

We had a great sunny weekend here and actually got quite a lot done. Or should I say Brian did. Saturday while tile was being installed in the kitchen Brian cut down the two evergreen trees in the front yard (the raccoon's ladders). It actually looks even more stark in this picture as shortly thereafter Brian trimmed the maple into about half of what is pictured here. So we are in desparate need of some landscaping!Braeden and the neighbor kids hauled away cut tree limbs over to the side of the yard for a temporary "fort."
Sunday night Bri BBQ'd dinner (after he mowed, trimmed and fertilized the lawn...moss be gone!) and we all ate outside. Jonah has moved up in the world into his high chair. He likes sitting up tall and being part of the action. His jabbering has moved up a level too, he was so talkative while we were making dinner that we stopped talking because we couldn't hear each other. It's hilarious! Braeden tries to translate his baby talk for us.
This is the only wall that is tiled (no grout yet), it turns out this pattern requires nearly every tile be cut. Someday we'll be done :)
